About Zee Arekat

One can say that some people find out pretty early on what they were meant to do in life. Nothing can be truer than Z Luxury Group's Zee Arekat. Known by her family as a Superwoman, this loving wife and mother of 3 have set the standard for service in the Valley real estate market. Always finding the time to do more than just sell homes, Zee finds herself a trusted confidant by all of her clients. Remarkably, this trust happens very quickly. Zee attributes it to a couple of things; "I was always fascinated by the mind and the psyche of people so I studied Psychology to become a counselor. I always felt like I can talk to people and help them through any situation so when I graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in Psychology, that was my goal." Once graduated, Zee spent the next couple of years caring for her kids and helping her husband run his business. It was in the late 1980s while Zee was browsing the Sunday paper when she spotted an ad for Tarbell REALTORS®, A large brokerage in the Southern California area whose office happened to be within 2 miles of her home and across the street from her daughter's middle school. Zee approached the manager to find out exactly what the position required. The manager at the time who Zee said was as "dynamic a woman as she had ever met" explained to her that the business gave you back exactly what you gave it. Zee asked if she would be able to schedule her work around her kids and their activities and still make it home in time to cook a nice dinner and the answer was an emphatic yes by the manager.

 

Fast forward 33 years and She has built a business on the single premise of providing an unparalleled level of service to all of her clients big and small. She has achieved some of the most prestigious achievements in real estate based on performance and service. Too many to name but true to her nature, Zee wouldn't allow us to list them. She says "The awards are great and I appreciate them but to me, the best gift is when someone gives me a referral based on the level of service I provide. That is honestly the best feeling in the world when someone appreciates you enough to share you with his or her friends and family. That to me is one of my greatest achievements that almost 98% of my business is referral based.".

 

My second greatest achievement is building a business that I can share with my family. Much to her delight, both of her sons Nick and Rashied wanted to follow in their mother's footsteps and become real estate professionals. They have built a team they call Z Luxury Group that has a reputation for unparalleled service. Rashied says with a big smile "I may be a little biased in my opinion, but you would be hard-pressed to find a better Real Estate Agent, mother, and wife than Zee. It's a privilege to come to work and learn from someone who is consistently as successful and hard-working as her. She showed us the way and gave both me and Nick everything we need to not only be successful in real estate but in life as well.".

 

Most professional biographies revolve around sales figures, accolades, and how much money one makes but this is what separates Zee from the rest. Almost every one of her clients is like family to her and she finds herself invited to weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties, and everything in between.
